Kevin Ray Johnson

Kevin Johnson, 45, of Church Hill, died Monday, April 18, 2022, doing what he loved – playing basketball. Kevin was born April 16, 1977, to Terry and Sheryl Johnson. He was the happiest person in a room and had a warm smile for anyone. Kevin was always ready to play a prank or tease someone. His passions were God, family, friends, and basketball. To know him was to laugh. He leaves behind his wife, April Johnson; his son and best buddy, Trevin Johnson; daughters, Jahylen and Amira Wilson all of Church Hill. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Amy Davis, and Becky and Mark Butler; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and many beloved friends. The family will receive friends from 4 pm to 6 pm on Saturday April 23, 2022, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill. A funeral service will follow at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Matt Daniels officiating. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the Johnson family.
