Madline Bishop Lundy

Madline Bishop Lundy, age 86, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 8, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She enjoyed gardening and being with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Geter Lundy; infant twin sons, Ronald and Donald Lundy; son, William Lundy; 4 sisters, Dora Maxine Wallen, Willivine Wallen, Lois Nadine Minton and Pauline Holmes; and son-in-law, Mike Lawson. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Kathy Sue Wallen (Jeff), Dinah Lawson and Lisa McDowell (Jeff); 2 sons, Virgil Stout (Gail) and Ricky Lundy; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. Funeral services will begin at 6:00 pm in the chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Mauk’s Cemetery in Surgoinsville.
