Mark R. Whittemore

Mark R. Whittemore, 61, of Church Hill went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his residence. Mark was born on November 15, 1956 in Kingsport to the late Paul Whittemore and Wrenda Johnson. He honorably served his country in The United States Air Force in Vietnam. He was known by all for his heart of gold and his kindness to others. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Aaron Daniels. Those left to cherish Marks memory are his loving wife of 32 years, Sharon Whittemore; daughters, Carrie Mae and Jessica Marie Whittemore; cousin, Tim Johnson and wife Laura; aunt Rhonda Winters and husband Wade; sister in laws, Karen Poasa and husband Mia, and Tina Rivera; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 4pm in the fellowship hall at Emmaus Baptist Church, 5842 West Carters Valley Road, Mount Carmel, TN 37645 with Dr. Phil Kidd officiating.
