Mildred "Pauline" Crigger Shepherd

Mildred "Pauline" Crigger Shepherd, age 92, of Church Hill, TN, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. She was born on April 18, 1934, in Gate City, VA, to the late Grady and Ethel Davis Ford.

Pauline's greatest joy was her family, especially taking care of her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Crigger, Jr.; daughter, Lois Williams; great grandson, Jace Crigger; and several brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish Pauline's memory are her daughters, Ronda Horton (Randy) and Linda Qualls (John); grandchildren, Susie Byrd (Jason), Grace Lewis, Ashley Russell (Eddie), Lisa Snow (Keith), Haley Montgomery (Jordan), Jonathan Crigger, and David Killebrew; great grandchildren, Brayden, Chesney, Landon, Rosaline, Keiley, Colton, Kaylin, Amora, Jaiden, Taliah, Aubree, Cooper, Avery, Addison, and one on the way; brother, Walter Ford (Martha); and special son in law, Charles Williams.

A private graveside service will be held with her immediate family.

Carter Trent, Church Hill is serving the Shepherd family.
