Roy Raymond Hall

Mt Carmel – Roy Raymond Hall, 78 of Mt Carmel, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on June 14, 1941 in Lee County, VA and retired from AFG Glass Plant after 31 years. He loved the Lord and loved to sing, as well as, going to church. Roy loved camping and going to the beach. He never knew a stranger and loved helping people and making them laugh. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Vinia Garrett Hall; his brother, James Hall and his sister, Teresa Hall. Roy is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Shirley Sexton Hall; daughter, Tina Hall; sons, Farron Hall, Troy “Bo” Hall and Troy D. Hall (Emily); 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; special great-granddaughter, Kaida Hall; sisters, Carolyn Mottweiler (Joe), Mary Speck, Donna Boots and Nancy Noe; brothers, Willie Ray Hall (Faye) and Darrell Hall; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Mt Mitchell Cemetery with Pastor Gary Moorefield officiating. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Fresenius Dialysis Center for their kindness shown and care given to Roy. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the Hall family.
