Mr. Teddy Wilson Stout, 82, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 19, 2020.
Ted was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. He was the son of the late Ronald and Stella Wilson Stout.
Ted proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
He loved spending time with his family and pets. Ted loved flying planes, riding his motorcycle and hiking.
In addition to his parents, Ted was also preceded in death by one sister, Ann Stout; one brother, Lynn Stout.
Survivors include his loving wife, Gladys Burke Stout; two daughters, Kim Stewart and her husband Jeff and Tammy McAninch and her husband Stoney; one son Lonnie Stout and his wife Tracie; eight grandchildren, Chase Stewart, Matt Goins, Jordan Stout, Michael Goins, Hannah Shephard, Haylee Deal, Dylan Stout and Quinn Brooks; five great grandchildren, Ellie, Lexy, Jadon, Collin and Sophia.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the Ballad Health hospice nurses Sarah and James.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
Due to the state restriction for Covid-19, a private graveside service will be held at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Rev. Tom Hancock officiating.
