Teresa Arlene Simpson Ennis

Church Hill – Teresa Arlene Simpson Ennis, 48 of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Holston Manor in Kingsport following a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Nellie Simpson; step-mother, Nell Simpson; maternal grandparents, Dave and Maggie Cordle. Teresa is survived by her daughter, Megan Smith; son, Anthony Ennis; mother, Mary Cordle Richardson and father, Carl Ray Simpson; brothers, David Crow and Dustin Collins; 3 special cousins. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ed McClain officiating and providing the music. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at McPheeters Bend Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Pallbearers will be Basil Simpson, J. R. Simpson, Danny Arnold, Dale Arnold, Dustin Collins and Brandon Fugate.
