Thelma Jean Justus

Thelma Jean Justus, 73, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 16, 2020, after a brief illness. She was a lifelong caregiver. She was the daughter of the late John and Mildred “Priss” Simpson. In addition to her parents, Thelma was also preceded in death by her husband, Don Justus; one sister, Wanda Lunsford. She is survived by one son, Ray Justus and his wife Kim; one daughter, Vanessa Justus; three grandchildren, Jesse Hensley, Heather Hensley and Gregory Justus; one great grandson; Maddox Hensley. Thelma was a strong woman and will be greatly missed. The family of Thelma Jean Justus will receive friends from 10 am to 12 pm Friday, February 21, 2020, in the Carter Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 12 pm with Rev. Bill Dubel officiating. The graveside committal service will follow in the Mountain Home National Cemetery at 2 pm.
