Agelena C Harrold

Agelena Harrold, 88, Kingsport, TN, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015, at her home. She was a faithful member of Sullivan Baptist Church and loved all her church family. She retired from Sears in Kingsport. She loved working outside in her flower garden and cooking meals for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe J. Harrold; and grandson Chad Harrold. She is survived by her 2 sons, Joe Lee Harrold and wife, Faye, and Linton Harrold and wife , Peggy; 3 grandchildren, Sherri Meade, Bart Harrold and Deana Dorton; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Monday (4/27/15) at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. Graveside services will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Jeff Strong officiating and providing music. Pallbearers will be Bart Harrold, Matthew Christian, Bill Meade, A.J. Hart, Randy Hammonds and Michael Baldwin. The family would like to especially thank her 2 devoted caregivers, Barbara Shoemaker and Jane Broyles; and a very special nurse, Susie Bragg.
