Betty Rose Woods

Betty Rose Woods of Church Hill, TN passed away on March 15, 2016 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport. Betty was born on June 29, 1942 in Kingsport. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Woods of Church Hill; her parents, Harvey & Venice Collins of Kingsport; her brother Ray Collins of Charlottesville, VA and Retha Poore of Kingsport. She is survived by her daughter, Carla Mobley of Illinois; her son, Jack Woods of Alabama; 3 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Earnest Collins & wife, Polly of Mt. Carmel; sister Geraldine Pride & husband Earl of Church Hill; along with several nieces and nephews. At Betty's request there was no funeral and no visitation. She was laid to rest at Elm Springs Cemetery, Church Hill next to her loving husband, Carl. The family would like to offer thanks to Wellmont Hospital, Hospice, and the Church Hill Health Care and Rebab Center, for your care of Betty.
