Billy Edward Bellamy

Billy Edward Bellamy, 71, of Kingsport, passed away (March 19, 2015) at Summit View Nursing Home in Rocky Top, TN. Billy was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Billy's Barbershop in Kingsport. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Kemper Roy and Lucille Freeman Bellamy; two brothers, Jimmy and Johnny Bellamy. He is survived by three cousins, Diana Ellis, Kpt, Marlene Duncan and Linda Duncan, Gate City, Va; nephew, Jimmy Bellamy and wife Hope; one great nephew, Jason Bellamy all of Duffield, Va. The family will receive friends from 4 till 6pm Saturday (March 21st, 2015) at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2pm Sunday (March 22nd, 2015) in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Blessing officiating. Burial will follow in the Rogers Cemetery, in Yuma. Military graveside rites will be presented by the American Legion Post 3/265 and the Virginia National Guard. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
