Connie Morley Larkins

CONNIE LARKINS Kingsport- Connsueella (Connie) Larkins, 71, of Kingsport, was carried away by Angels on Saturday morning (October 27, 2018) following a lengthy illness. She was born in Bristol, TN and had lived the majority of her life in Kingsport. She worked at her father’s store, Morley’s Roadside Market in her early years. Connie was former owner/operator of Gateway Market in Bloomingdale. Connie Larkins was an accomplished pianist who taught piano lessons throughout her life. She was very active in playing the piano in several churches throughout the area. She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Morley and her mother, Dorothy Virginia Morley. Connie Larkins is survived by her sons, Ronnie (R.H.) Larkins, Jr., Robert (Robbie) E. Larkins and Hali; grandchildren, Ronnie (Trey) Larkins III, Robert (Lil Rob) Larkins, Jr., Carson Larkins, and Adabella Larkins; father of her children, Ronnie Larkins; sisters, Charlotte Wright and husband, Harold, Judy Matthews; her brother, Gordon E. Morley along with her dear friend, Patty Schad. A visitation will take place on Tuesday (October 30, 2018) from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church with a funeral service taking place at 7 p.m. at the church with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh, officiating. Music will be provided by the Freedom Baptist Church Singers. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday (October 31, 2018) at 11 a.m. at Larkins Family Cemetery in Church Hill with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Larkins family.
