Daniel “Dan” R. Santomero, age 76, of Duffield, VA formally of Fort Myers Beach, FL and Brigantine, NJ passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025. Dan was born on November 19, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA to Anthony and Violet Santomero. 

In addition to his parents Dan is preceded in death by his wife Catherine B. Santomero (nee Mick)

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Rosemary Nicklas and husband Joe; nephew Dylan; niece Nicole; as well as his adoptive Duffield family and many close friends. 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date with close family and friends on the mountain where Dan and Catherine wished to spend their final years together.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Dan’s honor to Amedisys Hospice of Greenville, TN or to any Alzheimer’s foundation of your choice.
