Danny Ray Hutchins

Danny Ray Hutchins, 63, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 8, 2020. Danny was born on March 11, 1957 in Kingsport to Hassell Hutchins and Dorothy Carrier Hutchins. He was a graduate of Ketron High School. Later in life he went to work at McDonalds. He was also a handyman doing maintenance and yard work throughout Kingsport. Danny was an avid sports fan especially football and racing. Danny is preceded in death by his father, Hassell D. Hutchins; and sister, Edith Sue Pierce. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Dorothy Carrier Hutchins; sisters, Judy W. Carter and Faye Lunsford; brother, Carl Hutchins and wife Lorraine; nephews, Brent Carter, Tony Lunsford, J.J. Lunsford, Skyler Carter, Reggie Hutchins, and Andre Hutchins; and niece, Natasha Hutchins. A graveside service will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Steve Pierce officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 11:50 AM. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a donation to a charity of your choice in Danny’s memory. Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport is serving the Hutchins Family.
