David Lee Harkleroad

David Lee Harkleroad 68, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born in Kingsport to the late Robert Lee Harkleroad and Jean Bellamy. David retired from IBEW Electrical Union and served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife Peggi Sue Gammon Harkleroad of the home; son, Michael Harkleroad of Kingsport; step daughters Connie Copas of Kingsport, and Kim Kennedy of Decatur, TN; sisters, Patsy H. Chapman and Teresa Burnette of Kingsport, and Sharon Thacker of Surgoinsville; brother, Steve Bellamy of Wyoming; 2 granddaughters; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Pactolus United Methodist Church. A celebration of life service will follow with Pastor Steve Pederson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choosing.
