David Stephenson

David E. “Blue” Stephenson 59, of Church Hill went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center. David was a carpenter by trade and was known as a hard worker. In addition he worked for Bill Ball Moving Service for many years. David was a devoted father and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Ruth Stephenson. Survivors include his son, Lester Dorton; daughter, Sherry Strong; several grandchildren, brothers, Sonny Stephenson and Michael Stephenson; sisters, Jane Kirk and Mary Blackwell; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm at Shades of Grace UMC. A celebration of life service will follow with Pastor Will Shewey officiating.
