Delores Gailon Bledsoe

Delores Gailon Bledsoe, 84, of Blountville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at her with her family by her side. 

She was born in Kingsport, TN to the late James and Maude McCann. Delores worked for the Sullivan County School system for over 30 years before her retirement. She was a devoted member of Lighthouse Bible Church. Delores was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Bledsoe; son, Terry Lynn Bledsoe; 4 sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Glen Ray Bledsoe and Mike McCann and wife Jan; daughter, Debbie Dugger; grandchildren, Dawn, Michael, Forest, Autumn, Chris, and Tyler; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandsons; brother, Jerry McCann; sister, Janice Archer; along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3pm on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Gunning’s Cemetery with Pastor Jack Wright officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. 

Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:50pm.
