Edna Louise Mitchell Woodward

Edna Louise Mitchell Woodward, age 82, of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord, on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Church Hill Health Care and Rehab Center. She was a member of Mt. Mitchell Primitive Baptist Church and had resided in Church Hill throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, George E. and Ollie M. Mitchell; sisters, Mary A. White and Lillie M. Broome; and brothers, Robert H. Mitchell and George E. Mitchell, Jr. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Mitchell, Helen Darnell and husband, J.C. of Kingsport, and Hazel Bowlin; special nephew, James Bowlin; several nieces, nephews, and special friends, Stella Morgan and Jim Wilmoth. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Mt. Mitchell Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.cartertrent.com.
