Elizabeth Ann Forrester

Elizabeth "Barbara" Forrester, age 74, of Church Hill, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 7, 2016. She left this world while surrounded by her family at her home. She was a member of Mt. Zion Union Church where she served for many years. Barbara delighted in her family, especially her 3 grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Dale Forrester; parents, Orville and Lucille Blizzard; and brothers, O.H., James and Ray Blizzard. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Mullins of Rogersville; grandchildren, Joshua Short (Amanda), Nathan Short of Anniston, AL and Seth Mullins of Rogersville; sisters, Mavis Smith (Dale) of Glasgow, KY, Patricia Blizzard and Pamela Delaney (Mike) of Pawcatuck, CT; brothers, Dorman Blizzard (Patty), Gerald Blizzard of Dothan, AL; sisters-in-law, Josephine Blizzard of Glasgow, KY and Eva Blizzard of Central City, KY; many loved nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh and Pastor Fred Dimond officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
