Elke Ann Redmond

Elke Ann Redmond, 79, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 17, 2026. She was born in Germany in 1947 and moved to the United States in 1976. Elke was known for her sense of humor, work ethic, and she never met a stranger. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Berta Bergner; grandson, Thade Bergner; stepfather, Josef Frohlich.

Survivors include her son, Timo Bergner and wife Sally; daughter, Shelley Boggs and husband Monty; son, Thomas Redmond; grandchildren, Winona Bergner, Kennedy Hooven and husband Austin, Riley McKee, Hunter McKee, Christian McKee, and Emma Boggs; great grandchildren, Ensley, Rhett, and Lacey; and one great grandson due in November that she was very excited to meet; brother, Wolfgang Frohlich; along with a host of friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 6pm on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Christian Life Center. A celebration of Life Service will follow with Pastor Jeremy Damesworth officiating.
