Ellen Sue Wilson
Mar 17, 1932 — Apr 13, 2019
Rogersville-Ellen Sue Wilson, 87 passed peacefully on Saturday morning (April 13, 2019). She was born March 17, 1932 in Hiawassee, Georgia. She married the love of her life, Charles Wilson (amazing husband and Dad) who preceded her in death in 1988.
She leaves behind two children: a son, Benny (Kay) Wilson and grandson Charlie Wilson; her daughter Nancy (Steve) Adams and grandson Sam Taylor IV; two great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Cora Taylor; a sister Patricia Plott. Her sister Patricia and very special nieces were known as the Georgia Girls . They would visit often from Georgia and shop and laugh and just have fun not to mention all the good food. We would also like to mention her best friend, Irene Webb for many days of visiting, laughter, delivering her mail, and love.
There will be a private graveside service for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in her memory to Rogersville First United Methodist Church, 110 Colonial Road, Rogersville, TN 37857. The family wants to thank everyone for their prayers and support. Our Mom was a Warrior. She fought hard to remain strong and independent throughout her entire life and she did that all the way to the end. She was a wonderful Mom and will be tremendously missed.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill is serving the Wilson family.
