Emily Grace Christian Johnson

Emily Grace Christian Johnson, age 25, of Church Hill passed from this life on December 28, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Born in Kingsport, TN she was a graduate of Volunteer High School and the Jenny Lea Academy of Cosmetology. She was an employed as a licensed aesthetician at the time of her illness by Ulta of Kingsport. Emily was a loving mother, wife and a loyal comforting friend to many. She will be greatly missed. Emily was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Clark "Dude" Christian. She is survived by her husband Toby Johnson and their beautiful gift, 17 month old daughter, Scarlett Grace; parents Clark S. and Carla C. Christian; brother, Dylan E. Christian; paternal grandmother Patricia F. Christian; maternal grandparents, Carl E. and Jessie R. Cornett and her loving family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 7pm Friday January 2, 2015 at Carter- Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill with a memorial service to follow in the chapel.
