Eula Mae Stubblefield Newland

Eula Mae Stubblefield Newland 86, of Mt. Carmel went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Wexford House. She was born in Eidson, TN to the late Raymond and Grace Stubblefield. Eula was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, of 64 years, Joseph V. Newland; siblings, Eugene Stubblefield, Earl Stubblefield, Ewing Stubblefield, Ruby Culbertson, Kermit Stubblefield, Vivian Greene; great granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Rose Price; great-great granddaughter, Addy Staton. Eula is survived by her sons, Steve Newland and wife Karen of Church Hill, TN, Gary Newland and wife Norma of Gray, TN and Dennis Newland of Booneville, MS; daughters, Rhonda Gandy Mullican and husband Joe of Hartselle, AL and Pam Allen and husband Victor of Colonial Heights, TN; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Claudia Clawson and Randall Stubblefield; special friends, Elizabeth Harrell, Wes and Frances Surgener; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Pastor Layton Bentley officiating. A graveside service will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery with Jody Newland, Jason Newland, Jonathan Allen, Lawson Alexander, Ted Alexander, and Pat Clawson serving as pallbearers.
