Eva Kathleen Seckler

Eva Kathleen Seckler, 93, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. She was born in Clinchport, VA to the late John and Vada Hudson. Eva spent most of her life in Pennsylvania and later moved to Kingsport with her brother. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Seckler; brother, Howard Hudson.

Survivors include her sister, Mary Beeber and husband Noah; nephew, Johnny Ely and wife Nadine; niece, Sharon Crist and husband James; along with a host of friends and extended family.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Friday, October 1, 2026, at East Lawn Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 am.

The family would like to thank the staff of Holston Valley Medical Center for their loving care.
