Evelyn Lucille Qualls

Evelyn Lucille Qualls, 87, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord (January 22nd, 2016). She was born, raised and has lived most of her life in Clinchport, Virginia. In the last few years she has lived in Kingsport. She attended Calvary Baptist Church. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Qualls; father, Burley Gibson and wife Martha; mother, Nancy Benton Gibson and three brothers, Kenneth, R.L. and Elmo Gibson. She is survived by her daughter, Mamie Gardner and husband Dennis; grandson, John Gardner; sister, Wanda Danner and husband Bob; two brothers, Kyle Gibson and wife Bella and Mack Gibson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7pm Tuesday (January 26th, 2016) at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport. A graveside service will be conducted at 11am Wednesday (January 27th, 2016) at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Kenny Hammonds officiating. Pallbearers will be Joe Gardner, Josh Gardner, Gene Harless, Loren Dolen, Matt Lindsey and Roy Roberts. Those who plan to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport is serving the Qualls family.
