Flora Lee Salling

Kingsport - Flora Lee Baker Salling, 102 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Brookhaven Manor following a long illness. Born in Hill Station, VA, Flora had lived in Kingsport for the past 46 years. She attended Rivermont Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Salling; parents, Ballard and Peggy Starnes Baker; grandson, Steven Salling; brothers, Kyle and James Baker; daughter-in-law, Donna Salling . Flora is survived by her sons, Wayne Salling and wife Shirley of Gate City and Billy Salling of Kingsport; grandchildren, Lisa, Jeffrey and David Salling; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12- 2 p.m. Sunday at Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister Phips Sams officiating. Burial will follow in Holston View Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City is serving the Salling family.
