Gladys Pierson Berry

Gladys Pierson Berry, passed away on Tuesday (January 19, 2016) after a period of declining health. Mrs. Berry was born in Scott County, Va to the late Kelly and Maude Pierson. She was a member of Daniel Boone Baptist Church, in the Daniel Boone Community of Scott County and was the church pianist for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Berry; a daughter, Pam Brickey and a sister, Ann Shively. She is survived by a son, Jim Berry and wife Gail; two daughters, Cindy Iverson and husband Gordon and Becky McCracken and husband James, all of Kingsport; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Naomi McConnell, Louise Garland, Ruby Mays, Nancy Odiorne and husband Dean, Marion Carney and husband Robert and a brother, Bill Pierson and wife Linda and many nieces and nephews. A private service for family members will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Gladys' memory.
