Ima June Stidham

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Ima June Stidham, 83, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center. 

She was born in St. Paul, VA to the late Walter and Pearl Dingus. Ima loved to cook for her family as well as working in her flowers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wayne Dingus.

Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Simpson and husband Titus, Debbie Kennedy and husband Gary, and Melissa Stidham; sons, Michael Stidham, and Tony Stidham and wife Brenda; grandchildren, Leann Byington, Travis Stidham, Wesley Stidham, Jonathan Kennedy, Andrea Goad, and Kimberly Caldwell; great-grandchildren, Emily Byington and Bryson Stidham; along with a host of friends and extended family.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Thursday, August, 15, 2024 at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Jack Edwards officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50am.
