Jackie Darrell Caudle

Jackie Darrell Caudle, 73, of Duffield, went to be with the Lord (January 2nd, 2015) Born in Wise County, he has lived in the Wildcat Community of Lee County most of his life. He worked for several years in maintenance at Holston Valley Hospital. Jackie loved fishing and camping. He loved being among God's people when he went to church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruth Caudle; sisters, Brenda Lawson, Shirley Pleasant, Wilma Lawson; and his former wife, Alva Caudle. He is survived by his nephews, David Lawson and wife Doris, Dennis Lawson and wife Penny, Billy Pleasant and Freddy Pleasant; niece, Terri Child & husband, David; several great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 till 6:30pm Wednesday at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 6:30pm with Evangelist Gary Hood officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 12noon Thursday at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap. Those who plan to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:45am. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
