James Alan Bear

James Alan Bear, Jr. "Jimbo" went to be with the Lord October 7, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. "Jimbo" was born in Kingsport, April 23 1971. He resided in Church Hill with his fiancée, Christine Cradic. He was preceded in death by his papaw, O'Dell Andrew Wells; uncle, Richard Allen Wells. He is survived by his loving mother, Patricia "Patty" Bush; grandmother, "Nanny" Mae Wells; daughters, Chelsey Rochester and Shauna Bear; aunt, Sharon Hill and uncle Gary Hill; aunt, Judy McConnell; cousins, Andrew Hill, Richie Wells, Katrina Wells; fiancée and best friend, Christine Cradic; step-daughters, Jessica Cradic and Julie Howe; step-granddaughters, Raigan Candler and Aubrie Howe; along with several cousins. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. A celebration of life will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor B.D. Cradic and Rev. Jerry Dykes officiating. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Bear family.
