James David Andrews

James David Andrews, 73, of Church Hill went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed working with his hands. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Norma Andrews; grandson, Xander Andrews. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Diane Andrews; daughters, Jennifer and Angela Andrews; grandchildren, Damian Andrews, Caleb Andrews, Jaiden Andrews, and Steph Andrews; great-grandchildren, Elena Porter-Andrews and Samuel Andrews.  

Per his wishes no formal services will be conducted. 

Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport is serving the Andrews family.
