James "Lowell" Grizzle

James "Lowell" Grizzle 73, of Fort Blackmore went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.P. and Beulah Grizzle; brother-in-law, Donnie Taylor. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years Jean Grizzle; son, Jamie Grizzle and wife Jennifer; grandson, Justin Shane Grizzle; sister, Hazel Dougherty; brothers-in-law, Mike Taylor and wife Teresa , Ronnie Taylor; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 2pm at Grizzle-Salling Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Meade and Dr. Todd Cassell officiating. Ronnie Hunt, Adam Taylor, Luke Taylor, and Donovan Taylor will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Taylor, Bill Salling, Buford Salling, and Gerald Perry. Music will be provided by the Durham chapel quartet. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 PM. The family will also receive friends anytime at their home. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Amy Parsons his Masonic Lodge Caregiver. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Grizzle family.
