Janetta Ruth "Peggy" Jones

Janetta Ruth “Peggy” Jones,68, of Bristol went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital. She was a graduate of East High School. Peggy was a faithful member of Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a retired child caregiver of many years. Peggy loved spending time with family and friends especially while camping. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Beulah Lovelace; sisters, Diane Rose and Sabrina Spraker; brother, Buddy Lovelace. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, John Jones; daughter, Kerri Peters and husband Chris; special grandchildren, Rylee and Jake Peters; sisters, Jean Watkins, Joyce Maines and husband Roy, Frances Plemons and husband Mickey, Martha Young and husband Virgil, and Donna Wilson and husband Ricky; along with several special cousins, nieces, and nephews. Per her wishes a private celebration of life will be conducted at a later date. Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport is serving the Jones family.
