Joann Yeatts

Joann Yeatts, age 84 of Kingsport, TN entered into the glories of Heaven on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Joann was born on February 23, 1939, in Abingdon, VA to Ed and Virginia Tucker. Joann married Ronald Yeatts and after a beautiful life together and raising a family, he preceded her in death in 2018. Joann was the sports fan of all sports fans. She loved her Tennessee Vols football and basketball. She also enjoyed gardening and spending every minute she could with her family. Joann was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Ronald Yeatts, and two sisters, Carolyn Bishop, and Barbara Caldwell. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Sisk and husband Paul; son, James Edward Yeatts and wife Trace; grandchildren, Cody Sisk, Cal Forsman, and Carly Forsman; great grandchildren, Carter Hayes, Caeden Sisk, and Adelynn Sisk; and many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Cassidy Methodist Church. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Tom Hancock officiating.
