JOHN GLENN BREWER Kingsport - John Glenn Brewer 46, of Kingsport, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Holston Valley Medical Center. John was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed life and making people laugh. John was a NASCAR fan and also enjoyed singing Karaoke and playing poker. John's favorite thing to do was spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Frances Brewer; sister, Brenda Brewer. Survivors include his sisters, Theresa McDaniel and husband, Jerry, Myrtle Brewer; two brothers, David Brewer and wife Lisa, William Brewer; life partner, Robin Vicars; along with several special friends and family. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Scott Co. Funeral Home, Weber City, VA. Carter-Trent / Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Brewer family.
