Joy Ayne Mallory

Joy Ayne Mallory, age 63, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Baltimore, MD to Lynn and Reba Frazier and moved to Kingsport, TN as a child. Joy enjoyed crafting, cats, and any outdoor activities. She brightened the world around her with her many flower gardens. Joy was known for her outgoing personality and would strike up a conversation with anyone she crossed paths with. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

Joy is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 32 years Scott Mallory; son Mason Mallory; grandson Stone Mallory; sisters Nickie Frazier Mabry and Sherry (Barry) Pearcy; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home – Kingsport. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hawkins County Cancer Support Group P.O. Box 253 Surgoinsville, TN, 37873, or any charity of your choice.
