Koneth "Kon" Kindle

KONETH (KON) KINDLE Kingsport- Koneth (Kon) Kindle, 87, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord early Monday morning (March 12, 2018) at his residence. He was born in Scott County, VA and was a resident of Kingsport the majority of his life. Mr. Kindle was a veteran of the United States Navy. Kon retired from Raytheon following 34 years of service. He loved racing, flying his model aircraft planes, and especially camping with his family. He was a member of Friendship Chapel Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Venus Kindle; brothers-in-law, Cecil Carter and Tommy Carroll. Koneth Kindle is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Nella Kindle; son, David Kindle and wife, Laura; a daughter, Cyndi Lyons and husband, Steve; four grandchildren, Logan Lyons, Kody Lyons and wife, Rachel, Megan Kindle, and Chloe Lyons; his sisters, Nann Carter and Eula Dean Carroll; a brother, Buie Kindle and wife, Sandie along with several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Thursday (March 15, 2018) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown, Kingsport or friends may also call anytime at the residence. A funeral service will be held on Thursday (March 15, 2018) at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe Hill and Bro. Steve Lyons, officiating. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday (March 16, 2018) at East Lawn Memorial Park.
