Krystal Rasnick

Krystal Metisha Rasnick, 34 of Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and had attended Sullivan South High School. She was a loving and wonderful Mother to her son, Braxton who forever changed her life. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Callie Jean Johnson; her grandfather, Samuel Jackson Rasnick and good freind, Harold (Belo) Olterman. Krystal was known for her ease of conversation with people, she had an entertaining sense of humor. She radiated with beauty, had a contagious smile, a rare heart and had an outspoken personality. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her mother, Sheila Rasnick; her father, Ronnie Rasnick; her sister, Kaley Rasnick; her son, Braxton Olterman; Love of her life, Justin Olterman; a special aunt, Patricia Castle along with many close friends. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 pm on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. A funeral service will be held at 4 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Raymond Hammonds, officiating. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Monday at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pat Castle, 1302 Lake Street, Kingsport, TN 37660. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Rasnick family.
