Lakeesha Leeann Burke

Lakeesha "Keesha" Leeann Burke, 27 of Kingsport went to be with the lord abruptly Thursday, January 18th, 2018. Keesha was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, and an amazing friend. Keesha worked hard for her family despite the many medical issues she had to overcome. She loved bowling, softball, laughing, writing, and singing with her family. She will be missed beyond belief. Keesha was preceded in death by her grandfather Arthur lee Burke, Sr., a nephew, DeOntay LeBeau Hardy; her cousin, Dallas Kilgore. Keesha is survived by her three children, Lanna , Jesse and Lily; grandparents, Carrie and James McKeehan; her parents, Malinda and Arthur Lee Burke, Jr. (Sam); her sisters, Shanny and spouse, Curtis Ratliff, Camaya and spouse, Mario Delgado, Samantha and spouse, Brandon Hunley, JoAnnie and Tessie; brothers, Cody Burke and spouse, Brittany, James "Bubba" Burke and spouse, Tasha; Keesha is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and several cousins, aunts, uncles, and her dearest friends, Kenny Hauck, Kenneth McKeese, Sammie Lawrence, and Amber Bryson. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday (January 24, 2018) from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport or friends may also call anytime at the residence of the parents or grandmother. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday (January 24, 2018) at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Glenn Stewart, Jr., officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral on Wednesday (January 24, 2018) at East Lawn Memorial Park with Cody Burke, James Burke, Curtis Ratliff, Brandon Hunley, and Kenneth Mcneese, serving as pallbearers. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Burke family.
