Linda Cheryl Debusk
Dec 15, 1949 — Dec 7, 2016
Linda Cheryl DeBusk, age 66, of Surgoinsville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at her home.
Linda had a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a 1968 graduate of Church Hill High School. She had a wonderful talent for making ceramic and porcelain dolls and crafts. Most of all she loved being a mother, as she had prayed and asked God to allow her to do so; in return her children cherished her as the best mother in the whole world. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend to all who love her. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her son, James E. DeBusk; mother, Gladys Pierce; and father, Bethley Abraham Ratliff.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 48 years, Trent DeBusk; daughter, Kristi DeBusk; sisters, Jeanie Waddell (Dale) and Thelma Peters; brothers, James Ratliff (Shirley), Tivis Ratliff (Ina), Gary Ratliff (Joyce), and Charles Ratliff (Kathie); several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends; also beloved yorkie, Cody.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dorvin Bailey and Eulogist Betty Baker officiating. Special music will be provided by The Joyful Sounds.
Burial will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill is proudly serving the DeBusk family.
