Loretta Faye Wolfe

Loretta Faye Wolfe, age 77 of Kingsport, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Loretta was born on July 20, 1945 in Russell County, VA to Ora and Maggie Phillips. On October 18, 1965 Loretta married her best friend, Harry Wolfe, and after 57 years of a beautiful marriage together, he survives. Loretta was a fun loving lady who loved dancing in her early life. She attended Good Shepherd Baptist Church and she always enjoyed cooking. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and four sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Harry Wolfe; two sisters, Imogene Nahoum, and Joyce Wagner; many nieces and nephews; and many loving family and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. There will also be a receiving of friends on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, VA from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the mausoleum. An entombment service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Robert Fletcher officiating. Carter Trent Funeral Home Kingsport is serving the Wolfe family.
