Mamie Angeline Salyer Vaughn

Mamie Angeline Salyer Vaughn, age 84, born in Scott Co. VA, resident of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 25, 2015 , at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport. She was a member of the Weber City Church of God and accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age. She loved her family very much and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Vaughn; parents, Jesse and Roba Salyer; son, Larry Lane; and several siblings. She is survived by her children, Grady Lane, Harold Lane and Thelma Martin; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 pm in the chapel. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Spurrier Cemetery in Hiltons, VA. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Homes are proudly serving the Vaughn family.
