Margaret Murray

Margaret Murray 75, of Weber City went to be with the Lord on, Thursday, September 29, 2016 at her residence. Margaret was a longstanding member of Tipton's Chapel Baptist Church. She retired from Holston Valley Medical Center after 17 years of service. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, and Grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Ona Jarrett; brothers, Ezra, Ed, Elmer, Lester, and Paul Jarrett; sisters, Frances Lane, Hester Jarrett, and Bea Burgmann. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Robert Murray; daughter, Marcia Marcum and husband Randy; son, Dean Murray and wife Misty; grandchildren, Jordan Marcum, Cara Murray, Clay Murray, and Rylei Burgmann; sisters, Helen Bullock, Geneva Tipton and husband Joe; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Pastor Joe Roberts and Pastor Mike Gilliam officiating. Music will be provided by Dale Jett. Graveside services will follow at Tipton Baptist Church Cemetery. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Murray family.
