Margaret Grace Musick

Margaret “Peggy” Grace Musick, 87, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 28, 2025.    She was born in Ewing, VA to the late William and Gladys Morley. Peggy was a graduate of Thomas Walker High School where she excelled in basketball. She was an avid UT Sports fan and enjoyed spending time with her family. Peggy was a devoted member of Oak Glen Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, mamaw, great mamaw, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Musick; brothers, Bill, Bronson, and Joe Morley; sisters, Dot Glass and Jean Cheek.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina Musick Flora and husband, Tom; sons, Brian and Kevin Musick; grandchildren, Sarah Musick Hunley and husband, Kent, and Rachel Musick; step-grandchildren, Brett Flora (Rachel), Katie Flora, Anna Cochrane (AJ), and Adam Flora (Megan); great grandson, Carter Hunley; along with a host of friends and extended family. 

The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Danny Sykes officiating.

 A graveside service will be conducted at 1pm on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at East Lawn Memorial Park with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 pm.
