Margaret Jayne Willis

Margaret Jayne Willis, age 81, of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, TN. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Church Hill and of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a fun loving lady who still had the spunk and moxy of her youth. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Giles Willis Sr.; son, Giles Willis Jr.; daughter, Susie Willis; granddaughter, Shannon Willis; and parents, Ezra and Ida Mae Jayne. She is survived by her grandchildren, Simon Willis, Dawneen Howell (Tony Howell), Monica Romano (Giacomo Montuori), Angela Romano, Dominick Romano, Star Romano, Tiger Romano, Alvin Mills Jr. and Alex Mills (Bridgette Hankins Mills); great-grandchildren, Lucy, Andrew, Isabella, Anthony, Cameron, Mary and Addison; sisters, Doris Aleene Jayne Deel (Donald Hugh Deel Sr.) and Nancy Marie Jayne Stabile (the late Michael Stabile); nieces, Mia Jalane Deel Chalik (Charles Chalik), Alyce Deel Weglarz (Patrick Weglarz), Deirdre Deel, Jaquelyn Deel, Chloe Aleene Colvin, Lauren Deel, Natalie Deel, Ivana Jayne Chalik and Jill Stovall; nephews, Donald Hugh Deel Jr. (Joan Lewis Deel), Eric Beyhl (Jodi Hicks Behyl), Logan Deel, John Nicholas Stovall, Nicholas Stovall and Chase Michael McCormick; and a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm on Sunday, January 3, 2015 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 pm with Pastor Gary Gerhardt officiating. Burial will follow at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens in Surgoinsville.
