Mary Alice Cross

Kingsport - Mary Alice Morelock Cross, 71 0f Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mary was a Christian and had a strong faith in the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Ethel Roberts Morelock; sister, Wanda “Christine” Morelock, Blankenship brothers, Robert Morelock and John Henry Morelock. Mary is survived by her husband of 50 years, Paul H. Cross, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Cross; granddaughter, Kayla Cross; step-son, Alan Cross; sisters, Nancy Mabe (Kermit) and Judy Lawson (Rick); brother, Dave Morelock; several nieces and nephews. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport is serving the Cross family.
