Michael Eugene Lycans

Michael Eugene Lycans, age 81 of Kingsport, TN, went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2024. Michael was born on August 12, 1942, in Wayne County, WV to Jesse and Marjorie Lycans. On September 20, 1961, Michael married the love of his life, Ms. Connie Lusher, and after 62 years of a beautiful life together, she survives. Michael enjoyed playing golf and he loved coaching basketball and softball. Michael loved his family, and he will be truly missed. Michael was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and two sisters. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Connie Lycans; son, Michael Lycans, Jr and wife, Sharon; two daughters, Jenny Hermes and husband, Mark, and Robin Raines; two grandchildren, Marissa, and Dallas; three great grandchildren, Marley, Ava, and Rorick; and many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members. There will be a private family memorial. Carter Trent Funeral Home Kingsport is serving the Lycans family.
