Nannie J. Ramey

Nannie J. Ramey, age 103, of Kingsport (formerly of Dungannon, VA) went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 24, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ramey; and son, Rev. Hershel E. Ramey. She is survived by her daughters, Lottie Smith of White House, TN, Peggy Rutter (Robert) of Bristol, VA, and Nancy Horne (David) of Kingsport, TN; daughter-in-law, Betty Ramey of Nickelsville, VA; grandchildren, Jimmy Fleenor (Angie), Lisa Ogletree (Phil), Kim Rutter, Cassie Allen (James), and Kristie Weinstein (Scott); great-grandchildren, Megan Bishop, Jessica Hill, Dustin Fleenor, Haylie Weatherford, Andrea Fleenor, Lindsay Binkley, Shannon Reid, Ian Allen, Macey Allen, Cade Allen, Tariq Roozitalab, Isabella Roozitalab, and Jacoby Greenberg; and 7 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sunnyside Baptist Church Building Fund at 406 Cooks Valley Rd. Kingsport, TN 37664. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Scott County Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with Dr. Roy Graves officiating. Interment will follow at Holston View Cemetery. Scott County Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ramey family.
