Nannie Lou Peters

Jul 5, 1925 — Nov 27, 2017

Sister Nannie Lou (Culbertson) Peters, 92, of Kingsport, was ushered from this world to the world she longed for on Monday (November 27, 2017) at Indian Path Medical Center. In her own words she said….."Jesus come here" and HE came! She was born in Scott County and had resided in Kingsport the majority of her life. Sister Peters worked over 54 years in the church helping her husband; Bishop G. D. Peters at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church impact countless lives here and overseas. Though the mother of our church has left us, yet her presence will always remain. A sincere thank-you goes out to her personal caregivers, Indian Path Medical Center and staff, all who we could not have done without. The family will receive friends from 4:30 pm to 7 pm on Thursday November 30, 2017 at Apostolic Church. A service will follow at 7 pm at the church with Pastor Denny Livingston, Pastor James Kilgore and Pastor Spencer McCool officiating. Music will be provided by Lighthouse Worship Team. Entombment will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Oak Hill Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Cathy Ball, Brenda Salyer, Susie Griffin, Cindy Patrick Peters, Donna Sells, Vickie Greene and Lisa Harless. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Peters, Chris Quillen, Jeremy Greene, Eric Peters, Chris Baker and Bobby McCool. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lighthouse Fellowship of the Kings Youth, P.O. Box, 4158, Kingsport, TN 37665.
