Patricia Welch Ray

Patricia "Pat" Welch Ray, age 74, of Church Hill, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport. She was a born again Christian and attended Harvest Community Church. She was a retiree of Quebecor of Kingsport with 40+ years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amber Yvonne Yonts; and parents, Cline and Lorene Carter Welch. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Billy Ray; 2 daughters, Dianne Forbes (Robert Jennings) and Donna Housewright (Ricky Housewright); grandchildren, Meghan Ennis (Hunter Ennis), Danielle Yonts (Adam Thomas), Dylan Forbes (Haley Forbes), Sydney Forbes (Sam Williams) and Hunter Housewright; great grandchildren, Jaliyah Yonts, Jaydah Yonts, Madelyn Ennis, Jariah Yonts and Harper Ennis; siblings, Eddie Welch (Madge Welch), Sue Mosley (Patton Mosley), David Welch (Colleen Welch), Debbie Rhoton (Roy Rhoton) and Mike Welch (Sharon Welch); sisters-in-law, Tennie Hobbs and Phyllis Amyx; brothers-in-law, Garnet Rhea (Beulah Rhea), Gary Ray (Sue Ray) and Jackie Ray (Linda Ray); several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
